Down a Random Road

After class Tuesday, Scott and I decided to venture out to an area he had been this past weekend.  Jumping in the car he just told me to drive out a road to a little dirt road that he thought held some potential for our assignment.  We drove out and found an opening, grabbed our cameras and started taking pictures of all the little things we saw, trying to focus on what could be a good representation in black and white.  After the field Scott wanted to visit an old grave-yard because depressing photos are what he does best (we think he's trying to go emo on us).  Lastly on our way back we passed a church along the road with some pretty stained glass in the windows I wanted to try and grab.

Walk in Enterprise

While we were in WV we took a walk down the MC Trail along the old railbed in the Worthington/Enterprise area.  The girls got a chance to stretch their legs and prance around a little bit...

Sandstone Falls

While in West Virginia, I managed to convince my parents to do a tour of the local waterfalls.  Our day of adventure began at Sandstone Falls.  These are falls I have been to many times before and they never disappoint.  This year was different however, and I took off in search of some photo ops. One hour later with some cool shots, I was lost on the falls.  I quickly learned there are actually two sets of falls.
First set of falls

And the second

SoCo Reunion

Awesome concert.  Scott and I headed down to DC after I got off work and after some misunderstandings regarding time we ended up with lots of time on our hands and a two story Target.  Things really didn't end up too bad.  Scott was fascinated with the escalator for shopping carts in the middle of the one for people.  Tons of people at the concert, lots and lots of songs. So good.  Favorite line of the night by Andrew McMahon (lead singer) "We've been gone a long time, so can we play you lots of music?"

Sea Bags

On our return trip home from Maine, my wonderful father once again agreed to take the scenic route.  We came home the long way by way of Portland and had the chance to visit the little shop/workshop of Sea Bags.  While there mom and I bought a little change purse that was really cool and made from recycled sails.  The cooler part was speaking with the owner, Beth.  While talking to her she offered to make me a bag for free if in turn I would promote their product among my sailing friends.  Taking her up on it, they made me a custom bag and a few weeks later, the Ultimate Watersports staff pitched in and bought a similar bag for Hal to say thanks and celebrate 25 successful years.  Here are some shots of the 2 sweet bags!
